 CINEMATIC STORY

We’re taking our vast storytelling and product video experience to create unique and compelling real estate productions. These are designed to capture the attention of the viewer with a cinematic look that comes more out of the movies than what you’d expect in a real estate video. Having the owner, architect, or agent tell the story of the home with evoking music and dynamic imagery will not only will keep the prospective buyer connected from beginning to end, but will engage their emotions, which ultimately increases call to action.

Using techniques from the best

In this Cinematic Story example, you’ll see people in the imagery. In our Tier 3 Productions, an optional part of our process is hiring models that fit the buyer demographic. This enables potential buyers to visualize themselves within the space. To fully grasp this, think of a commercial by Apple, one of the world’s leading product video producers. You have product placement, but it’s always people enjoying or using the product that create the call to action.

MAIN WALK-THROUGH

This can be you in an interview style, or physically walking the viewer through the home. Here is an example of each.

Interview Style where you as the seller can sit or stand and focus on the words (with or without the assistance of a teleprompter) and we then get to focus on higher production imagery.

Walkthrough Style where the viewers get to feel as if they’ve met you as the seller and you’re touring them around the house.

How we are different.

We just don’t claim to be. And we’re not trying to be different without a cause. Our mission is to differentiate with the sole purpose of helping both buyers and sellers.

Our preproduction process sets us a part.

What direction is the house facing? This will depend on the order we shoot the house and time of day may best to be in each room.
Will we need lighting? One of the main aspects that can make or break real estate cinematography is having the rooms properly lit.
What are the main features that you want to highlight? What are you going to say? This will help us create our storyboard and shotlist and dramatically increase efficiency on shoot day(s).
What is the style and feel of the house? This will depend on what music we use and how we shoot it.
Who is the potential buyer? Is it for a young entrepreneur, a retired couple, etc? We’ll use that information to craft the speed of our edits and color grading of our clips. Additionally, if we’re using models in the production, we’ll match them to the market audience.

Our equipment is next level.

We use the latest and greatest gear and technology to create the best image quality possible.

We use a special stabilization system that allows us to get long swooping, steady lines and angles that other equipment setups are not capable of.

We further differentiate ourselves by shooting with a RED Camera used in Hollywood productions. Capable of RAW video recording in 6K Resolution, it has almost double the color bit depth of other cameras and very high dynamic range to get all the gradients. Learn more about RED cameras here.

The lenses we use are rectilinear, which means that unlike other commonly-used wide-angle lenses that have extreme distortion around the edges, these vertical lines will be straight.

We only use the latest and greatest drones that not only have stunning image quality, but increased safety features that keep from accidental property damage. P.S. Aerial cinematography is included in all of our shoots at no extra charge.

The film is your style.

Sadly, we see one of the biggest limiting factors with other creatives is they are all about creating productions with their style. We do not have that limitation. Therefore, you have the option when it comes to how you want the image to look.

  • Clean and colorful. We don’t use lens filters, lift our exposure, and spend extra time in reducing image noise. The end result is a more modern, sharp, and contrasty look.

  • Soft and bright. When you desire a more warm, less formal look, we’ll use techniques to make the images soft and inviting.

  • Cinematic, filmic. This is where we pull out our cinematic stops and use special filters, add a film emulation in post production, and make special effort to find emotive music.

Our Three-Tiered Approach

With our three tiers, we can offer you a package that fits your listing’s specific needs.

TIER 3

This is our fully comprehensive listing package, which includes multiple videos, the options of hiring models, narration, and staging (coming soon!). These productions typically take place over 3-4 days, including preproduction, production, and editing. The production day is a full 8 hour day of shooting that includes day time and evening shots.

MAIN FILMS

  1. CINEMATIC STORY

    • We’ll either interview the seller, the architect, builder, or the agent to tell the “story” of the home, or hire a narrator to read a script. When there is no particular history of the home, this can be a poetic description of the homes features.

    • You’ll have the option for us to hire models to be placed in featured areas of the home.

  2. WALK-THROUGH (Either in Interview or Tour Style). Averaging between 10-15 minutes.

    • NOTE: In these walkthroughs, we spend time with you coming up with a very detailed plan of how we will execute each room. At times, we’ll bring in special lighting to put you and the room in the best light. This takes a little extra time, but the production value is increased dramatically.

  3. ASSETS FOR SOCIAL MEDIA

    • We’ll create up to 3 social media ads for the listing.

NOTES: Included in this tier is us doing all of the preproduction: driving to the location to scout for best lighting conditions, planning for the needed lighting, and creating our shot list.

TIER 2

This tier gives you a complete walk through an edit for social media and/or Youtube. These productions include 1.5-3 days of production time, including preproduction, production, and editing. NOTE: The production day is a full 8 hour day of shooting that includes day time and evening shots.

MAIN FILMS

  • WALK-THROUGH (Either in Interview or Tour Style). Averaging between 5-10 minutes. Or, a CINEMATIC STORY

  • ASSETS FOR SOCIAL MEDIA

    • We’ll create up to 3 social media ads for the house.

TIER 1

This is our basic package that will get your listing a video that will show off it’s best features, whether you do the tour or you want the imagery to. These productions are done all in one day, with you assisting us in preproduction. Night time shots are an optional addition.

MAIN FILM

  • WALK-THROUGH (Either in Interview or Tour Style). Averaging between 4-8 minutes. Or, a CINEMATIC STORY.

TIER BUDGET

With video production, there are many variables and the required tier budget may increase or decrease, depending size of home, where it is located, how many features you’d like to include, and/or if you’d like to have an add-ons etc. Therefore while we do on a case by case basis, as a guide our budgets usually fall between 0.15% to 0.45% of the listing price.

ADD ONS

Add ons can be added to any tier and can include:

  • Hiring models

  • Hiring a narrator

  • Additional edits for social media or YouTube
